His Pain, In His Words: Carl Ray

"WHEN DID OUR LOVE DECIDE TO COMMIT SUICIDE?, WE WERE PERFECT IN MY WORLD, I DON'T DESERVE THIS" -Carl Ray

I am proud to introduce a new cat to the game and his name is Carl Ray. He has a new single called "Loaded Gun" featuring Veronica Jay, produced by @Iammayday. This ish right here is one of my favorite joints. The intro to this song is SICK!! I love LOOOOOOVE IT!!!! When they sing the hook, their voices intertwine as one and makes love to my ears. Having her as the feature on this track was brilliant. The quality of this song is incredible, the beat flows, the lyrics flows, he has just enough attitude in his voice and you can feel the anger and rage that he has for that bitch, whoever broke his heart, thank you cause it brought out his creativeness even more.

Some people might not understand his lyrics because we are so used to the simple, "dumbed" down lyrics that we are forced to hear everyday. So when a person hears metaphorical language, their brain might not  process what he is trying to say, or it will take a few listens to actually get it completely. I know I am tired of hearing hoe this, bitch that, money this, swag that. A lot of songs don't have any real content, no real climax, everything is just kind of one noted. It doesn't turn me on at all, I just can't get jiggy with some of that shit!! Prior to hearing him sing, my nose was clogged and congested, after hearing his music, it was like a big breath of fresh air for me, I can breathe now!! He has this kind of dirt, rock and roll but R & B sound to his voice which makes him versatile and able to sing in any genre of music. I know with all my heart that Carl Ray will be very successful in his career.

Make sure you check out his EP called "The Pain of A Man" dropping June 1st.  On this EP you will get 9 songs each different in its own right. "Ship on the Ocean" which is another favorite of mine, this one he gives us more range of his voice.  When I hear this song I just get lost, the melody reminds me of a smooth wave approaching shore, gently crashing into the sand. It has me feeling like I am in a poetry lounge *snapping fingers*. I'm not going to front, on my first listen I had no problems with any songs, my only critique is that he adds some background vocals to certain tracks. Other then that, I am in awe of him, his music and can't wait until his next project.

Shad P. "Gets it In"

"FREQUENTLY THEY WANT BEEF WITH ME, SECRETLY THEY BE A FAN OF ME, REVENUE INCREASE ANNUALLY, IT'S JUST ME AND MY FAMILY..." -Shad P

Shad P. is an up and coming Hip Hop artist right from Queens, NY. His new single "Get it In" was just released earlier this month and is already generating a buzz on Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube.

When I first heard the single "Get it In", produced by Elevator M.U.S.I.K. the beat captured me. The hook is very catchy, I found myself tapping my foot and singing along after a while. Sometimes, I can be really funny when it comes to hearing new music, on the first go round I might not like it and skip the song, but not this time. I played it all the way through more than once. I really admire how good the sound quality is, it is radio ready. You can tell that he believes in himself because he invested the time, money, love and energy to bring you the listeners. It wasn't a project that was just put together. This was just a tease and I can't wait to see what he has up his sleeve on his new project called "All or Nothing" that will be finished at the end of July and coming to your ears real soon!

I truly believe that he will be in the music game for years to come. I will NOT recommend something that I don't even like myself, and I highly advise you to take a listen to the link below and rate him for yourself..
